That is a different setpoint pattern than summer-break "kids home all day" and fall "everyone back to a 9-to-5 rhythm." The thermostat schedule that worked through July does not match September. Set the recovery to 3:00 PM, not 3:30, not later.
Sleep (10:00 PM). 70°F cooling, 65°F heating. Lower setpoints overnight pull more humidity out (longer cycles at cooler air-handler temperatures move more moisture across the coil). For tight new construction this is the most important block of the day for humidity control.
These four edits, done once, save 6 to 12 percent on the September-October bill in most newer Spanish Fort homes. They take 90 seconds. There is no reason not to.
The 60-second visual check while you're at it
Since you're already standing at the air handler with the cabinet open, do these in the order listed.
Look at the coil through the access slot. Most Spanish Fort air handlers have a small viewing slot or removable plate that lets you see the upstream face of the evaporator coil.
